INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
MODULAR LIGHTWEIGHT ACCESSORY STRAPS (MLAS)
Description: The Honeywell Miller MODULAR LIGHTWEIGHT ACCESSORY STRAPS (MLAS) is a
practical low profile textile interface that allows convenient attachment of MODULAR
LIGHTWEIGHT LOAD-CARRYING EQUIPMENT (MOLLE) certified accessories to your waist pad.
Training: It is essential that the users of this equipment receive proper training, including
detailed procedures for the safe use of such equipment in their work application.
Warning:
a) Include the MLAS during the daily harness inspection before use. Check for damage, wear, fraying, cuts, abrasion, burns
and knots. When inspection reveals defects or damage, the equipment shall be tagged as "unusable," removed from service,
and immediately discarded.
b) ALWAYS use BOTH rows when attaching a MOLLE certified accessory (follow the instructions for use provided with the
MOLLE accessory). See below the installation procedure.
c)
The maximum total weight capacity of the Honeywell Miller MLAS shall not exceed: 22 lbs. / 10 kg
d) All persons using this equipment must read, understand, and follow the instructions for use. Failure to do so may result in the
MOLLE accessory falling off.
e) Please only use the MOLLE certified accessories.
f)
All tools or objects placed inside the MOLLE pouches or accessories should preferably be tethered to avoid any risk of fall.
g) To keep shoulder straps in working position during a free fall, waist belt or back strap, at least one of which remains engaged
to meet standard requirements.

Removing the waist belt
To start removing your waist belt, please take the webbing end out from the side D-ring (show on below picture).
Reminder: All the webbing loops or slots you take off from removal shall be reinserted when you install the waist belt.
