Today I purchased RS 120-W headphones to replace my old RS 120 wireless headphones. There is no longer a tune dial on the headphones so couldn't remove interference. I am using the same analog TV as before.

To reduce interference on the Sennheiser RS 120-W headphones when using them with an analog TV, ensure the headphones and the transmitter are placed close together (within 30 cm) during pairing. Also, avoid placing liquids or electronic devices near the transmitter that could cause signal disruption. Keep the system clean, especially the contacts, using a dry cloth and cotton swab.

To connect the Sennheiser RS 120-W TV headphones to an Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max 512GB, you need a 3.5 mm headphone jack or adapter. Follow these steps:
1. Use the included 3.5 mm to RCA adapter cable with the transmitter. 2. Plug the 3.5 mm end into the iPhone using a Lightning-to-3.5 mm adapter (since iPhones no longer have headphone jacks). 3. Connect the transmitter to a power source. 4. Turn on both the transmitter and headphones. 5. Place the headphones close (within 30 cm) to the transmitter to pair.
Once paired, audio from the iPhone will play through the headphones.

Yes, the Sennheiser RS 120-W headphone may need new rechargeable batteries if it does not charge on the cradle.
To replace the rechargeable batteries:
1. Twist the left ear pad counterclockwise until slight resistance is overcome. 2. Lift the ear pad off to access the battery compartments. 3. Remove the old rechargeable batteries if present. 4. Insert new AAA 1.2 V NiMH rechargeable batteries, observing correct polarity. 5. Place the ear pad back on. 6. Twist it clockwise until it clicks.
Only use rechargeable batteries to avoid damage during charging.

i have an optical audio cable from my TV to my headphones. When i switch headphones on the audio comes on but 5 seconds later it disappears. On the TV audio out it lets me select optical out for a short time but quickly switches back to the default mode that being my sound bar. The sound bar is a wired connection.

The Sennheiser RS 120-W headphones use an analog connection and do not support a direct optical (digital) audio input. If you connect them to a TV's optical audio output without using an analog-to-digital converter, the transmitter will not receive a compatible signal, causing the audio to cut out. To resolve this, use an analog connection such as RCA or a 3.5mm headphone jack, or use an optical-to-analog converter.
