5' Fireplace - Preparing the Media Tray

1. Remove the glass to gain access to the firebox (see manual for details).
2. Place the 5' Fireplace template on the burner as shown below (start with the left end, then rotate the template and use
it for the right end).
NOTE: 5' unit uses (1) template in two different positions (left & right). Make sure the "L" is closer to you when the
template is on the left side of the burner and the "R" is closer to you when the template is on the right side of the
burner.
NOTE: The holes in the template rest over the raised cluster of burner holes on each burner.
NOTE: Make sure the "L" and "R" are properly oriented, not reversed (if the letter is formed backward, turn the template
over).
3. Place the log placement plates in the punched out areas in the template that match their shape.
NOTE: The right side only uses (1) of the log placement plates. Install the plate only in the furthest right hole in the
template.
4. Secure the log placement plates to the media tray with the included screws.
5. Rotate the template 180° and place it on the other end of the burner (double-check the orientation of the letter in the
lower corner)
6. Secure the remaining log placement plate to the media tray with the included screw.
7. Remove the template and dress the burner with crushed glass or rock embers (see appliance manual for details).
Do not overtighten the screws when securing the log placement plates to the media tray.
