OUTPUT CONNECTORS

On systems with the Cablescan System Controller, signals listed on the left-hand table below are
provided on the 15-pin D-type connector on the I/O board, usually located on slot One of the
System Controller. For Series 90 L4/H8, which connects to your PC, the signals in the right-
hand table are provided on the parallel port connector on the PC. The parallel port is typically a
female 25-pin D-type connector. There is a footswitch connection on the I/O board on the
Cablescan System Controller. On Series 90L4/H8, a footswitch connection is provided on the
parallel port.

VACUUM FIXTURE OPERATION

Vacuum solenoids for test fixtures can be controlled using the TESTING signal. A programmed
time delay can be added from the time the TESTING signal transitions to the actual start of test.
This allows fixture settling time. The delay is controlled by the Startup Delay from the Series 90
Software.
