A temperature set point issue on a Raypak 336A Rheem heater after replacing the circuit board could be caused by a faulty or incorrectly connected temperature sensor (thermistor). If the sensor is out of range, open, shorted, or not reading within 10% of expected resistance values, it can prevent accurate temperature display or adjustment. Check the thermistor, its wiring, and connector at Terminal P1. If the sensor readings are correct, the replacement circuit board itself may be faulty.

ROL on the display of a Raypak 336A means the thermal fuse inside the heater has tripped due to excessive heat or flame roll-out. This can be caused by a downdraft of the burner flame.

The readout is CLK, also the front panel inside the heater has a 2-3" melted spot in the center of the instructions sheet. Heater won't fire up.

The CLK readout on a Raypak 336A heater means "Clock – Time Clock," indicating the heater is turned off by a programmed time control. If the heater is not connected to an automation system, the issue may be with the PCB (printed circuit board).
A melted spot on the front panel could be caused by burned wiring or damage near the ignitor. This could result from short circuits, rodent damage, or overheating components, such as a faulty igniter or high-tension lead.

@Tom Blakely the replacement board is a 100-10000345
A temperature set point issue on a Raypak 336A Rheem heater after replacing the circuit board could be caused by a faulty or incorrectly connected temperature sensor (thermistor).
