Under the direction of Frank Blöhbaum, the circuit
concept was completely revised and improved. A
phase reserve of almost 90° was achieved in the
power amp section through various changes. This
phase reserve ensures a significantly better tran-
sient response on complex loads (speaker). Since
the amplifier always works in the state of transient
during normal operation - music are transient
impulses - one hears these improvements elemen-
tary.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE

Musicality and sound are significantly better than
the predecessor. Even the most difficult speakers
can be driven effortlessly. The amplifier always
manages the complex load (speaker) without to
sound strained. The preamp section uses 6N1P tu-
bes in the second stage. The larger voltage levels
provide better large signal stability. This results in
a higher spectral purity of the signal, which re-
sults in a further improved fine detail in the sound.
The tube-typical musicality is retained and there is
never an analytical coldness in the sound. Ano-
ther advantage of the improved circuit design is a
greatly improved signal-to-noise ratio. It turns out
an excellent playback quality - even on high-effi-
ciency speakers.
