• Do not mow without discharge chute or entire grass
catcher in place.
WARNING
Warning - Loss of traction and control hazard:
• Do not operate with only the collection system installed.
• Do not operate with only the front counter balance
weights installed.
• Operate only with both the entire collection system
and front counter balance weights installed and the
collection system closed and latched.

Opening and Closing the Hopper

1. To open the hopper door to dump collected materials, lift
the dump handle (A, Figure 49) up and move it away from
the operator's seat of the zero-turn riding mower to the
OPEN (dumping) position (B). Gently allow the handle to
move upward, which will tilt the hopper, open the hopper
door, and dump the contents inside.

2. To close the hopper door, push the dump handle down,
move it towards the operator's seat of the zero-turn riding
mower, and then push it down again to the CLOSED
(collecting position) (C).

Lubrication

Please refer to the following illustration for grease locations.
Lubrication Interval: Weekly
Apply a thin layer of grease to the dump handle pivoting slot
(A, Figure 50).

Apply a thin layer of grease to the discharge hose.

Apply a thin layer of grease to the collection system tilting slot
and the latch assembly bar slot (A, Figure 52).
