Installation INSTALLATION In addition to these installation instructions, perform the installation instructions for the Blower and the Weight Mount that are detailed in the Grass Collection manual included with the Blower Mount. Remove the Carburetor Shield The carburetor shield must be removed from the rear bumper of the machine. - Page 5 Installation IS2100Z with a 61” Mower Deck (12 cu. ft. Hopper) 1. Position the hopper mount onto the bumper and install two (2) U-bolts over the top bumper tube and through the holes indicated as “A” in Figure 4 and secure with nylock flange nuts. 2.
- Page 6 Installation Zero-Turn Riding Mowers with Flat Plate Bumpers Six (6) 3/8-16 X 1” bolts (A, Figure 8), 3/8 SAE washers (B) and 3/8-16 nylock flange nuts (C) are used to mount the hopper mount (D) to the round tube bumper (E). Figure 8.
- Page 7 Installation Install the Stabilizer Strap (S150XT and S200XT Units Equipped with Kawasaki or Briggs & Stratton Engines) 1. Using a 3/8 X 1-1/4” bolt (A, Figure 12), 3/8 SAE washer (B) and 3/8 nylock flange nut (C) to mount the stabilizer strap (D) to the hopper mount (E). 2.
- Page 8 Installation Install the Hopper Mount Brackets (S800X Models) 1. Chock the wheels of the unit to prevent movement. Left Side of the Unit 2. Place a bottle or floor jack underneath the left side of the frame of the machine (A, Figure 14) and carefully raise the unit until the pressure is removed from the tail wheel mount (B).
- Page 9 Installation Attach the Support Plates to the Hopper Assembly There is a left (A, Figure 16) and right support plate (B). Use the illustration to help identify which side is which. With the support plates installed properly the mounting tabs should be pointing toward the center of the hopper.
- Page 10 Installation Install the Handle and Control Rod 1. Route a 5/16 X 1” bolt (A, Figure 18) through a .34 X 1.25 X 10 ga. washer (B), the handle (C) the .328 X .497 X .218 long spacer (D), another washer, the hopper and secure with a 5/16 nylock flange nut (E).
- Page 11 Installation Install the Hopper Assembly to the Hopper Mount 1. With an assistant to help you, position the hopper assembly (A, Figure 21) behind the hopper mount (B). 2. Connect the hopper assembly to the hopper mount using hitch pins (C). Figure 21.
- Page 12 Installation Install Tube Extension to Hopper This procedure is only necessary for zero-turn riding mowers with a 61” mid-mounted mowing deck being fitted with a 12 cu. ft. Hopper. 1. Remove the three (3) screws (A, Figure 23) and 1/4 nylock flange nuts (B) screwed into the hopper.
- Page 13 Installation Adjust the Latch Bars Inspection 1. With the hopper in the closed (collecting) position inspect the latch bars (A, Figure 26) to make sure the middle pin from the pin lock weldment (B) is at the back of the slot and that the latch is fully engaged.
- Page 14 Installation Adjust the Cable Inspection Latch squeezed. 1. With the hopper in the closed (collecting) position, squeeze the latch release lever. The latch (A, Figure 28) should be high enough so that it clears the locking pin (B). 2. Release the latch release lever. That latch should sit on the locking pin as shown in Figure 28.

Install the latch release lever tensioner spring (A, Figure 30) to the center latch assembly (B) by routing a 3/8 X 1-1/2” bolt (C), and a 3/8 SAE washer (D) through the spring, a 3/8 jam nut (E) the center latch assembly and secure using a 3/8 nylon lock nut (F).

General Operating Instructions Installing the Weight Carrier and Front Weights It is important that weight carrier and front weights are installed whenever the collection system is mounted on your unit. The instructions for installing the weight carrier and front weights are detailed in the Fast-Vac or Turbo- Pro Max Grass Collection System manual that was included with the blower mount for this machine. - Page 17 General Operating Instructions Lubrication Refer to the following illustration for grease locations. Lubrication Interval: Weekly Thin layer of grease Thin layer of grease Thin layer of grease on pins and latches to assist with latch operation. Thin layer of grease Figure 32.

Hopper Removal HOPPER REMOVAL See the Fast-Vac or Turbo-Pro Max Grass Collection System manual included with the blower mount for instructions on removing the blower from the mower deck. Remove the Hose from the Blower Assembly 1. Using the two (2) rubber straps, disconnect the hose from the blower (A, Figure 33). - Page 19 Hopper Removal Remove the Hopper Assembly from the Hopper Mount 1. Remove the hitch pins (A, Figure 35) that secure the hopper assembly (B) to the hopper mount (C). 2. Move the machine away from the hopper assembly. Figure 35.
