oil change
Drain the used oil when the gasoline engine is warmed up.
Hot oil can be drained quickly and completely. 1. Put a
suitable container under the gasoline engine, then unscrew
the oil dipstick and oil drain bolt
and sealing gasket.
Drain the used oil completely, install and tighten the oil

drain bolt and new gasket.
Please dispose of waste oil and containers in an environmentally
friendly way. We recommend that you put waste oil in a sealable
container and send it to the local waste oil collection station. Do not
throw it into the garbage can or pour it into the drain.
3. Place the gasoline engine on a level surface and fill in the
recommended oil (see page 8) to the upper limit mark on the
dipstick.
Running the gasoline engine with a low oil level may cause
damage to the gasoline engine. Such damage does not
under warranty.
4. Install the oil filler cap/dipstick
securely.

Dirty air filter
A Dirty air filter will restrict airflow to the carburetor, reducing
gasoline engine performance. If operating the gasoline engine in a
very dirty area, clean the air filter more frequently than specified in
the maintenance schedule (see page 7).
Operating a gasoline engine without an air filter or with a
damaged air filter will introduce dirt into the gasoline
engine, causing rapid wear and tear of the gasoline
engine. Such damage is not covered under warranty.

Remove the air filter cover and check the air filter, clean or
replace the dirty air filter. The air filter is damaged and needs
to be replaced.

Paper filter element: Tap the filter element on a hard
surface several times to remove the dirt, or blow it with
compressed air [not exceeding 207kPa (2.1kgf/cm
the inside to the outside. Do not use a brush to remove dirt,
otherwise the dirt will enter the fibers of the filter element.
Foam Filter: Wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry; or
wash with non-flammable solvent and dry. Dip into clean
oil and squeeze out excess oil. If there is too much oil
residue in the foam, the gasoline engine will emit smoke
during the initial start-up stage.
Wipe off the dirt in the air filter housing and cover with a

damp cloth, taking care to avoid the dirt entering the air
passage of the carburetor.
Put the foam filter over the paper filter and replace the empty
