Spark plug
Recommended spark plug: BPR6ES (NGK)
W16EPR-U(DENSO)
The recommended spark plugs have the correct thermal range for the
normal operating temperature of the gasoline engine.
Incorrect spark plugs can cause damage to the
gasoline engine.
If
the gasoline engine has just been running, allow the spark plugs to
cool before servicing.
For best performance, spark plugs must be properly spaced and free of
carbon deposits.

Remove the spark plug cap and
remove the dirt around the spark
plug.
2.
Use a 21mm spark plug wrench to
remove the spark plug.

wear or if the insulator is
cracked or chipped, or if the
side electrodes are worn .

To prevent cross-threading,
carefully reinstall the spark plug
by hand .

Once the spark plug is in place, tighten with a 21mm spark plug wrench to
compress the gasket.

When installing new spark plugs, tighten 1/2 turn to compress the gasket
after the spark plug is in place.
8.
When reinstalling the original spark plug, tighten 1/8- after the spark
plug is in place
1/4 turn to compress the washer.
Torque: 18 N m (1.8 kgf m)
A loose spark plug can overheat and damage the gasoline
engine. Overtightening the spark plug will damage the gas
Cylinder head threads.
9. Install spark plug cap to spark plug.

Europe and other countries where the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is enforced ,
these maintenance needs to be carried out by the dealer.
The spark arrester can be a standard part or an optional part according to the type
of gasoline engine. In some areas, it is illegal to use a gasoline engine without a
cremator. Check local regulations. Spark arrestors are available from your dealer.
Cremation arresters must be serviced every 100 hours to keep them functioning
properly.
If the gasoline engine is running, the muffler will be hot. Allow the cremator to cool
before servicing it.

cleaning and inspection

Carbon deposits around exhaust
ports and spark arrestors , clean if
necessary.
2.
Use a brush to remove carbon
deposits from the spark arrester
filter, being careful to damage the
filter. If the filter is broken or has
holes, replace the spark arrester.

. Install gasket, spark arrestor, muffler, identification tab, gasket, and muffler
guard in reverse order of removal.
