汽油机储存
Preparing for storage
Proper storage preparations are necessary for proper storage
of gasoline engines. The following steps will help protect the
gasoline engine function and appearance from rust and
corrosion, making it easier to start the gasoline engine when
it is used again.
clean
If the gasoline engine is running, allow it to cool for at least
half an hour before cleaning. Clean all exterior surfaces,
refinish any damaged paint, and apply a thin coat of motor oil
to other areas that may be rusted.
Use a rubber hose or pressure washer to force water into the
air cleaner or muffler opening. Water in the air filter can wet
the air filter, and water can enter the cylinder through the air
filter or muffler and cause damage.
fuel
Stored gasoline will oxidize and deteriorate. Deteriorated
gasoline will cause difficult starting and leave a buildup of
glue clogging the fuel system. If the gasoline in the gasoline
engine deteriorates during storage, it may be necessary to
service or replace the carburetor and other fuel system parts.
The amount of time that gasoline will remain in the fuel tank
and carburetor without malfunction will vary with factors such
as gasoline blending, storage temperature, and whether the
fuel tank is partially or fully filled. Partially filling the fuel tank
with air can contribute to fuel deterioration. Excessive storage
temperatures can accelerate fuel deterioration. If the gasoline
is not fresh when filling the fuel tank, fuel deterioration may
occur within 30 days or less of fuel in the tank.
Fuel system damage or gasoline engine performance issues
caused by neglect of storage preparations are not covered
under warranty.
You can extend storage time by adding gasoline stabilizer, or
avoid fuel spoilage problems by draining the fuel tank and
carburetor.
Add gasoline stabilizer to extend storage time
Fill the tank with fresh gasoline and add gasoline stabilizer. If
the fuel tank is not full during storage, the air in the fuel tank
will deteriorate faster. If you store gasoline in a dedicated
storage tank, make sure the gasoline is fresh before storing it.

outdoors for 10 minutes to ensure that the untreated
gasoline in the carburetor is completely replaced by the
treated gasoline.
3. Shut down the gasoline engine.
Drain the fuel tank and carburetor
