B y u s i n g the EBBRSHBBfll M O D E control's A D D setting, unnecessary s i g n a l
components can be eliminated a l l o w i n g only desired components to be displayed.

A p p l y the whole s i g n a l (including i t s unnecessary components) to the C H I
I N P U T t e r m i n a l . N o w apply the component you w a n t eliminated to the C H 2
I N P U T t e r m i n a l .

S e t the
at C H 2 . Set the trigger point at the C H 2 s i g n a l , and v e r i f y that C H 2 contains
the unnecessary component of C H I .

P r e s s the C H 2 I N V s w i t c h , and v e r i f y that the C H 2 s i g n a l represents the u n -
necessary component
control i s set at A D D under these conditions, only the necessary s i g n a l
components w i l l be displayed on the C R T screen.
Note:
E l i m i n a t i o n capabilities v a r y w i t h the size of the unnecessary component. I n
order to attain the best results, display the C H 2 s i g n a l w i t h a s l i g h t l y higher

setting. After pressing the C H 2 I N V s w i t c h , and a c t i v a t i n g the
A D D function, adjust the V A R I A B L E control of CH2 to get a good w a v e f o r m .
A l s o , after pressing the C H 2 I N V control and s w i t c h i n g to the A D D setting, the
displayed w a v e f o r m m a y move up or d o w n . M o v e i t back to the display position
u s i n g the y P O S I T I O N control for C H 2 .
