Set the
ment
of the C h a n n e l 2 probe. After compensating the channel probes, use
the C H I probe e x c l u s i v e l y i n channel 1, and the C H 2 probe e x c l u s i v e l y i n
channel 2. T h i s is necessary because there i s a slight capacitance v a r i a t i o n
between the two channels, and confusing probes w i l l cause changes i n
compensation
adjustments.

R e t u r n the VMMMMMODE
control to the A C setting, each channel's V O L T S / D I V control to 5 V / D I V . ^
P O S I T I O N and < • P O S I T I O N controls to 12 o'clock.
T h i s i s w h a t w e refer to as the "initial setting" condition.
