Switching Fabric Board FRU Devices
There are two switching fabric board FRU devices and both have IPMI type FRU
devices. Each switching fabric board FRU device has three segments—the Header
area, the Board Info Area, and the Product Info Area. This test checks all three of
these segments.

There are 18 node card FRU devices. They all have Sun FRU format and each FRU
has one segment.

C Temperature Test
The I
temperature information and reports a status of pass, warning, or critical for each
device.
There are eight midplane sensors and three fan sensors. The I
returns a pass status when any of the midplane or fan sensor temperatures rise from
inlet to outlet at 55° C ambient. A midplane or fan sensor will return a warning
status if it reaches 75° C (20° C over the 55° C max inlet air temperature), and it will
return a critical status at 85° C (30° C over the 55° C max inlet air temperature).

Power Supply Status Test

The Power Supply Status test reports the status of all eight power supplies. It tells
whether the power supply is powered on or off, if the power supply is derating or
not, or whether it is healthy or not healthy.

Power Supply On/Off Test

The Power Supply On/Off test toggles all eight power supplies by turning them off
and on. It toggles one power supply at a time, starting from the first power supply
and traversing through all eight power supplies. Enable this test for a limited
number of runs, such as 5-10 passes, as this test may degrade the life cycle of the
power supplies.
