QuickRestore

Compaq provides you with the ability to restore your system at any time with
QuickRestore. QuickRestore has four types of restore options, as described in the
following table.

Description
Allows you to back up all information and files on your hard drive and store it
to a separate partition on your drive.
Restores your hard drive from your last System Save.
Allows you to select certain Compaq drivers or applications you want to
re-install without reformatting your hard drive.
Restores your computer to the original factory-installed software state.
NOTE:
Do not leave your computer unattended while QuickRestore is running,
because you are periodically required to enter information. If you do not enter the
required information, your computer may not complete the QuickRestore process.
