1.13.6 Incubation System
The Incubation of the Lattice Lightsheet 7 consists of 2 systems:
The Heating System comprising:
· Temperature Controller to monitor temperature
· Heated lid
· Heated plate
The Gas Incubation System comprising:
· Gas Mixer used to control and monitor temperature and CO
supply to the sample environment
· Humidifying Column used to control the humidity of the atmosphere
· Heated Tubing Package used to transport and mix the gases

The control units or modules should be placed on a level surface next to the system and can be stacked on
top of each other. Most conveniently, the Temperature Controller is placed on top of the Gas Mixer and the
Humidifier is placed on their side.
1.13.6.1 Heating system
Temperature Controller
The temperature controller (Fig. 19) is used for precise control of the various heating devices via 4 channels:
· Heated lid cover (channel 1)
· Heated tray (insert, frame) (channel 2)
· Heated base (plate) (channel 3)
· Heated lens (channel 4; not in use (spare)
The LEDs on the front (Fig. X2/1-4) provide the status and reaction of the channels, the connection to the
power supply and the USB port:
