12. Events

In KDC3900 system, locking control, OC outputs and acoustic signal generation is based on the
event model. Events are: selection of lock code, selection of P1 or P2 buttons in the uniphone
(separate events, depending on the decoder state), use of ID, request for feedback and pressing
an external button. For example, the opening of lock can be called up with push-button P1 or P2
during a conversation, or by using an ID, but the OC output control (e.g. staircase lighting) can also
be "added" to the use of an ID.
Each event (except for ANSWER event) is generated by one of the cassettes in the system, which
enables to change system operation depending on the "active" cassette (for example, using the
ID in cassette no. 1 opens the lock attached to it and controls the OC output for staircase lighting,
while using the same ID in cassette no. 2 will only open the gate).

Definitions of events

There are several types of events in the system. The list below describes each of them:
press AUX – press the external "lock button". It can open the lock, control the OC,
generate an acoustic signal and trigger a conversation with the property
entering the lock code (0) – (opening the door with lock code) can control the locks and
outputs OC and generate a beeper
use of RFID ID (0) – controls locks and OC outputs, generates an acoustic signal
press P1 button – press the P1 button in the device during a call, triggers OC locks and
outputs and generates a beeper
press P2 button – like selecting the P1 button
ANSWER from the device – pressing the P1 button in the device while system is idle, by
default it calls feedback, it can also trigger OC outputs and locks, and generates a beeper
office function – action carried out after connection with the uniphone with the handset
raised and the "office" mode activated for this number, triggers OC locks and outputs, and
generates a beeper
keyboard usage – triggers only OC. The event can be used to turn on the relay from the
lighting.
P5 – selection of the P1 button during the device's downtime
P6 – selection of P2 during the device's downtime
use of RFID after setting the appropriate flag of premises (1) – event analogous to the use
of rfid, but generated only for premises with the appropriate flag set
use of the lock code after setting the flag of premises (1) – event analogous to the use of
lock code, but generated only for premises with the appropriate flag set
use of the lock code after double button (2) – an event analogous to the use of lock code
is generated after double pressing the button
code)
use of the lock code after double button and set the flag of premises (3) – an event
analogous to the use of lock code is generated after double pressing the button
setting the flag of premises
establishing a connection with premises – an event generated at the moment of
establishing a connection with premises, can only be connected to OC control system. This
event is not affected by delays
Beeper generation is independent of beeper connection parameters and is always generated in
