Example:
There are 2 PBXes in the system, both support premises from 1 to 15. To these buildings leads
the way through a gateway, where satellite KDC3915 is installed, inscribed in slot 2 in both
PBXes.
In both PBXes it is necessary to set the range of numbers 1-15 (pairs 200 – 1, pairs 201 – 15)
and for the common satellite – to insert preshift from the master (par. 2210). In the first preshift
will be 100, in the second one – 200. Thanks to this it is possible to call from the PBXes directly
using the number of premises, and when calling from the gate you have to dial the number with
preshift for each building.
A similar effect can be achieved by redirecting premises in PBX, but it requires duplication of the
residents' list (two entries are needed – one "normal" and the other with redirection) and is an
ineffective solution in case of more complex systems.

11.6.4. Letter suffixes

If there are premises with numbers ending with a letter in the installation, it is possible to enter
them into the residents list and use such number by users.
In the residents list in KDC3905 keyboard, it is necessary to enter the premises with logical number
with letter ending (e.g. 23a) and as the target (physical) number enter the number outside the
supported numbering (as in case of special numbers). The apparatus should be programmed with
the same physical number.
In the satellite keyboards, enter a logical number (as above, e.g. 23a) into the residents list, but
without redirecting to a physical number. It is important to remember that such number is subject
to conversions in the PBX, especially the preshift from the master (see chapter 11.6.3), which has
to be added to the number (e.g. if the block has a preshift from master 2000, then you have to
enter 2023a in the satellite). Please note that the logical number in the satellite is transmitted
through the bus without any conversions (redirection in the satellite is irrelevant) and is analyzed
only in the control panel.
The procedure for BM0900 is similar except that it is not possible to enter a letter suffix from the
keyboard. For this purpose, it is necessary to download the residents list to the memory card, edit
it on the computer using ResidentsList software and then load it into the BM0900.
Use of suffixes
In order to select a place with a letter suffix, the user must dial a number without a letter. At the
bottom of screen you will see hints which premises can be selected. Select the appropriate item
with arrows and then press
or
, depending on what you want to do.
