SET UP:

INSTALL POWER SUPPLY

The enclosed battery holder located below the chassis inside the case is standard. It holds 10 D-cell alkaline
batteries (not included). Optional Power Supplies may be substituted: Model S1460: International AC
Adapter/Recharger (110/220V, 50/60Hz); Model S1462 12 Volt DC adapter (automotive cigarette lighter plug-
in); Model S1465 NiCad Battery Pack (requires S1460).

TO INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERIES

AUDIO PORTABLE BUDDY:
Open carrying case cover. Lift out battery holder from case. Insert 10 new Alkaline "D" cell batteries (be sure to
observe polarity) or replace with Model S1465 NiCad Battery Pack. Carefully replace battery holder and attach
the connectors.

BELT PACK for INFRARED WIRELESS LAPEL and HEADSET MICROPHONES:

Open the battery compartment by sliding the lid on the belt pack off. Insert 2 new Alkaline "AA" batteries into
the spaces provided. Be sure to install the batteries as directed by the diagram in the compartment.

HANDHELD INFRARED WIRELESS MICROPHONE:

Unscrew the barrel housing from the assembly, which will expose the battery compartment. Take the tube out of
the compartment and place 2 new Alkaline "AA" batteries into the tube, with the batteries aimed the same
direction. Re-insert the tube with the batteries, (+) end pointed towards the base, Replace the barrel housing.
Do not mix battery types or attempt to recharge alkaline batteries. Equipment damage, safety hazard or fire
