Intended use

This dishwasher is designed exclusively
for washing ordinary household quanti-
ties of dishes, and is intended solely for
domestic use.
Prior to use, the appliance must be
properly installed in a kitchen unit.
Only use the dishwasher as described
in this user manual. Any other use is
deemed improper and may result in
damage to property or even personal
injury. The manufacturer accepts no li-
ability for damage caused by improper
use.

The following symbols can be found in
this user manual.
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a hazard with a
medium level of risk which, if not avoid-
ed, could result in death or serious in-
jury.
CAUTION!
This symbol indicates a hazard with a
low level of risk which, if not avoided,
could result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE
This symbol warns against possible
damage to property.
This symbol refers to useful addi-
tional information.

In this chapter you will fi nd gen-
eral safety instructions which
you must always observe for
your own protection and that of third
parties. Please also pay attention to the
warnings in individual chapters on in-
stallation and operation, etc.
Risks in handling household
electrical appliances

Touching live parts may result in severe

Only use the appliance indoors. Do
not use in wet rooms or in the rain.
Do not operate or continue to oper-
ate the appliance if
it shows visible signs of damage, e.g.
the power cord is defective.

In this case, you should pull the mains
cord out of the socket or switch off/
unscrew the fuse and have the appli-
ance repaired (see „Service" on page
EN-32).
The appliance corresponds to pro-

nected to a plug with a protective
conductor that has been installed
properly. Ensure that the voltage is
correct when connecting it. You can
fi nd more detailed information about
this on the nameplate.
