Computer feet

The computer feet are adhesive-backed rubber pads. The feet are included in the Rubber Kit, spare
part number 480480-001. There are 6 rubber feet that attach to the base enclosure in the locations
shown in the following illustration.

Description
8-cell, 73-Wh, 2.55-Ah Li-ion battery for use with all computer models
6-cell, 47-Wh, 2.55-Ah Li-ion battery for use only with computer models equipped with AMD
processors
Before disassembling the computer, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
Remove the battery:
1. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface.
2. Slide the battery release latch (1) to release the computer.
