During baking/roasting, the elements will turn on and off to keep the oven temperature at the setting. NOTE: The top element helps heat during baking/roasting, but does not turn red.
Page 17 USING YOUR RANGE DJUSTING THE OVEN TEMPERATURE CONTROL Although your new oven is properly adjusted to provide accurate temperatures, it may cook faster or slower than your old oven. If you are not satisfied with the baking/roasting results, you can change the offset temperature by following the steps below.

Do not use commercial oven cleaners in your oven. Failure to follow these instructions can result in burns, or illness from inhaling dangerous fumes.
