Once the Battery is charged, discon-
nect the Charger from the electrical
outlet and the Charger from the Bat-
tery Pack. Connect the Battery to the
base of the Drill.

1.
Turn the Chuck (4) of the Drill coun-
terclockwise until the jaws are open
wide enough to receive a 3/8" bit.
2.
Place the bit of a driver or drill (not
included) into the jaws, and turn the
Chuck clockwise until secure.

From accidental
operation:
turn the Forward/reverse
switch of the tool to its center,
locked position and remove
the Battery before performing
any inspection, maintenance,
or cleaning procedures.
Work piece and Work area set up
1.
Designate a work area that is clean
and well-lit. The work area must not
allow access by children or pets to
prevent injury and distraction.
2.
Secure loose work pieces using a
vise or clamps (not included) to pre-
vent movement while working.

There must not be hazardous ob-
jects, such as utility lines or foreign
objects, nearby that will present a
hazard while working.

injury; verify that the surface has no
hidden utility lines before drilling or
driving screws.
general operating instructions
1.
Mark the position of the hole to be
drilled with a center punch to prevent
the Drill from "walking".
2.
Attach the Battery to the bottom of
the handle, it will click when it locks
into place.
3.
Move the Forward/Reverse Switch to
the desired position.
4.
Turn the Torque Selector to the cor-
rect torque setting. Do not change
the torque setting while the drill is
moving.
5.
Pull the Trigger to start the Drill. Al-
low the drill to come up to full speed,
before, applying it to the work sur-
face.
6.
Hold the Drill firmly with both hands,
as torque will cause the tool to twist.
7.
When drilling in light gauge metal or
wood, place a wooden block behind
the material to prevent damage to the
workpiece. Lubricate the Drill Bit with
cutting oil when drilling iron or steel.
Use a coolant when drilling nonfer-
rous metals such as copper, brass, or
aluminum.
8.
To drill holes parallel to the ground,
make sure the bubble stays between
the lines on the Level.
