Grounded tools must be plugged into an outlet properly installed and grounded in accordance with all codes and ordinances. Never remove the grounding prong or modify the plug in any way. Use clamps (not included) or other practical ways to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the workpiece by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.

If you are using an extension cord outdoors, make sure it is marked with the suffix “W-A” (“W” in Canada) to indicate it is acceptable for outdoor use. Make sure your extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition. Always replace a damaged extension cord or have it repaired by a qualified electri- cian before using it.

It is generally used to bore holes with the purpose of breaking up materials. The tip of the Cordless Drill must be firmly depressed for the hammer action to engage. Note: A masonry bit is required when drilling/chipping into masonry materials.
Indicator (21) lights up, when the Trigger is depressed, to show which direction the Drill is set. Make sure to hold the Cordless Drill firmly with both hands, as torque from the Mo- tor can cause the tool to twist.

Do not use damaged equipment. DAILy: With a soft brush or cloth, remove all dirt and debris from the Cordless Drill. Do not immerse the Cordless Drill in any liquids. When the battery needs replacement keep in mind that the Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery in this tool must be recycled or disposed of properly.
