Operation

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
The griddle 1 gets extremely hot during use!
Touch only the temperature control 8 and
the handles 4 at the sides!
The griddle 1 is divided into two sections: a
grooved side and a smooth side .
The ridged side of the griddle 1 is particularly
suitable for red meat and poultry; this gives
the grilled food the typical striped pattern and
requires less fat for cooking .
The smooth side of the griddle 1, on the other
hand, is suitable for frying when the food
requires the greatest possible contact with the
hot surface, e .g . to obtain a particularly crispy
crust . This side is ideal for fish, vegetables,
eggs, bacon .
1) Make sure that the drip tray 5 is positioned
under the griddle 1 .
2) Plug the mains plug into a mains socket and
select a temperature level with the temperature
control 8 . The control lamp 7 comes on and
the appliance heats up . As soon as the control
lamp 7 goes off, the appliance has heated
up . Place the food on the griddle 1 as required .
Fat and liquids run into the drip tray 5 during
cooking .
3) Check the grilling progress regularly and turn
the food over . When you are satisfied with the
results, take the food off the griddle 1 .
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use metal implements such as knives,
forks, etc . If the non-stick coating is damaged,
stop using the appliance .
4) If you do not want to grill any more food, turn
the temperature control 8 to "0" and remove
the plug from the mains socket . This is the only
way to switch the appliance off completely .
