Enable DNA in B&R Automation Studio

Under the Dynamic Node Allocation section, change DNA to on. Configure the DNA parameters according to
the table below. When using DNA, the node number set in Automation studio is applied to the POWERLINK
nodes.

10. To enable the DNA functionality on POWERLINK nodes, the node number must be set to 0 at the nodes. For
the Anybus CompactCom 40, the value of the node number in the Network Configuration object (instance
#1) must be set to 0.
11. Transfer the configuration to the PLC. DNA will now be used to set the node number of DNA enabled nodes.
