6. Warranty
1)
This data acquisition module has been thoroughly tested and checked to meet the
required performance specifications prior to shipment. However, should any failure or
malfunction occur, immediately contact our sales office.
2)
This module is warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.
3)
The warranty applies only to failures found in this product resulting from defects in the
workmanship or materials used in manufacture. Even if within the warranty period, the
warranty shall not apply to failures in cases where the product has been misused or
mishandled due to not following this instruction manual, modified or damaged by
accidents such as natural or man-made disasters.
4)
The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. If a failure is found in
the product or you suspect possible trouble, please check it again. This is important in
order to clarify the failure symptoms and avoid making faulty judgments.
5)
If a failure is found in the product or you suspect possible trouble, contact us with the
specific symptom and detailed description of the trouble, as well as the product model
number and production lot number.
6)
The repair cost including shipping fees, dispatch fees and replacement part costs will not
be charged to the user when within the warranty period.
We make every effort to repair the product in as short a time as possible. In the following
cases however, the repair might require additional time and extra costs or might be
refused.
* The product was purchased a long time ago.
* The maintenance parts used in the product are not in current production.
* The product was severely damaged.
* The product was modified or altered.
* The symptom of the trouble cannot be reproduced at Hamamatsu Photonics.
* The trouble is caused by other devices used with this product.
* Other unavoidable factors
