2.3.3 Installing the driver (for Windows 2000)
The installation procedure is explained under the assumption that the Windows 2000 Service
Pack 4 (Hereafter abbreviated as "SP4") OS has been updated.
In case SP4 or higher has not been updated, download and install the Service Pack (Program
for updating) from Microsoft's home page (Hereafter abbreviated as "HP"). After the Service
Pack is installed carry out "Windows Update".
Regarding the procedure and details for Service Pack, please refer to Microsoft's HP.
1. Connect the USB camera module to the PC with the USB cable.
2. Switch on the PC. (When the USB camera module is connected to an external power source,
switch it on after the PC has been turned on.)
3. First the "Found New Hardware" window is displayed followed by "Found New Hardware
Wizard" window. Click the "Next >" in the second window.
