When working at the device:
Wear the necessary protective clothing in accordance with national regulations.

Danger of injury!
Only operate the device if it is technically in faultless and reliable condition.

The operator is responsible for faultless operation of the device.

Constructional changes at the device
Unauthorized changes of the mechanical construction of the device are prohibited and may result
in unforeseeable risks:
If constructional changes are required: Contact Endress+Hauser.

Repairs
In order to ensure operational safety:
Only perform repairs to the device if they are expressly allowed.

Observe the national regulations concerning the repair of an electrical apparatus.
►
Only use original Endress+Hauser spare parts.

Approval relevant areas
In order to prevent risks for humans or for the plant when operating the device in approval
relevant areas (e.g. explosion protection, pressure equipment safety):
Check the nameplate to make sure if the ordered device is suited for the intended application

in an approval relevant area.

Product safety
The device is designed to meet state-of-the-art safety requirements, has been tested and left the
factory in a condition in which it is safe to operate.
The device complies with the applicable standards and regulations as listed in the EC declaration
of conformity and thus complies with the statutory requirements of the EG directives. Endress
+Hauser confirms the successful testing of the device by affixing to it the CE mark.
