- Page 4 Placing the shredder 1. Place the device on a smooth flat surface. 2. Ensure the device is positioned at a distance from heaters and other sources of heat. 3. Where possible, avoid using extension cables or multi-way sockets. It is advisable to connect the device directly to the wall socket using the power cable (in accordance with the technical specifications).
- Page 5 Overloading If you insert too much paper over the maximum shred capacity of the shredder, the indication light will be red flashing, and the cutting unit will stop rotating. In this event, set the switch to “REV” to remove the paper. Reduce the number of sheets and try again.
