I have a Bonsai C169-B shredder. When I turn the switch to Auto, the power light comes on for about one second then goes out. Anything I can do to fix this? The shredder does not run.

The issue may be caused by an improper assembly of the trash can and shredder head, preventing the safety switch from activating. To fix this, check whether the raised buckle inside the trash can is correctly inserted into the safety switch device. If the safety switch is not triggered, the shredder will lose power. Refer to the troubleshooting guide to ensure proper assembly.

To separate the top part from the bin on the Bonsaii C169-B shredder, first unplug the machine. Then, check if the bin is full or improperly aligned, as this can cause it to stick. Gently rock the top part side to side while lifting straight up to release it. Avoid using excessive force to prevent damage.
