Introduction
Operating the character input screen
The following screen is displayed when inputting text such as a category name on the
FTM-400DR/DE.
● Alphabet input screen
● Numbers and symbols input screen
● Input field
Touching the character key when text is already displayed causes the character to the
right of the cursor to be overwritten.
[Caps]
The input switches between small and large
character input each time this key is touched
[A I U]
The screen switches to the katakana input
screen when touched.
[123#%^]
The screen switches to the number input
screen when touched.
[←][→]
The cursor in the input field moves left or
right when touched.
[ENT]
The entered characters are confirmed and
the screen returns to the previous screen
when touched.
[BACK]
The screen returns to the previous screen
when touched.
[
]
The character to the left of the cursor will be
deleted when touched.
[ABC]
The screen switches to the alphabet input
screen when touched.
[123#%^]
The screen switches between the number
input screen and symbol input screen each
time this key is touched
