Touch [PRESET FREQUENCY]
The frequency will be set and the frequency number
will turn green.

Press and hold
The screen will return to the frequency display screen.
Tip You can also go back to the frequency display screen by
touching [BACK] twice.
● Connecting to a preset channel

Follow steps 1 to 4 in "Presetting a channel" to make the preset channel available in
advance

Press and hold
The WIRES icon will appear on the left side of the
frequency indication and " P " and " X " will flash
alternately.
When a local node is found, " X " will be lit solid, and
the node name and city name will appear on the
bottom part of the screen.
Tip When any local node cannot be found, the WIRES icon
will disappear in 20 seconds.
Tip
If the detected local node has a voice channel (operation channel) besides the preset channel, the
band A frequency will automatically switch to the frequency of the voice channel.
