PROGRAMMING RADIOS BY CLONING
This Multi Unit Charger allows you to clone up two radios at a time (2 sources
and 2 target radios) by using pockets 1, 2 and 4, 5. The purpose of cloning is
to copy the feature image of a radio.
How to Operate Cloning:
1.
Please refer to the radio's manual for button sequence to enable the
Master radio and further details on cloning procedure.
2.
Make sure the batteries are fully charged and the contacts are not
contaminated or producing faulty connections.
3.
Place the slave radio into pocket 2 or 5 and it needs to be ON.
4.
Master radio is prepared for cloning through key button presses and
then it is placed into pocket 1 or 4 respectively depending on where
the slave radio is located.
5.
Press the key button on the Master radio to begin cloning.
6.
Tones are used to indicate good or bad cloning. On the display, a
pass or fail indication will be shown.
7.
Normally, the cloning process will take less than 4 sec.
