In the event of damage and / or improper use of the battery, gas evolution may occur. Ventilate the room, in case of
complaints consult a doctor. Gases can damage the respiratory tract.
Under extreme conditions, liquid may leak from the battery. It can cause irritation or burns. If such a leak is registered,
proceed as follows:
- Carefully wipe the liquid with a cloth. Avoid contact of the liquid with the skin and eyes;
- if the liquid comes into contact with the skin, the relevant area of the body should be washed immediately with plenty
of clean water, possibly to neutralize the liquid with a weak acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar;
- If liquid gets in your eyes, immediately rinse them thoroughly with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical
attention.
. It is not allowed to use a rechargeable battery that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries can act
unpredictably and cause fire, explosion or risk of injury.
The rechargeable battery must not be exposed to moisture or water. It also poses a danger to the aquatic environment.
The battery must always be kept away from heat sources.
Follow all charging instructions. Do not charge the battery in a temperature outside the range specified in the operating
instructions. Improper charging or charging at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and
increase the risk of fire.
It is forbidden to repair damaged batteries. Repairs are only permitted by the manufacturer or an authorized service
center.
Attention! Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries can leak, ignite or explode if heated to high temperatures or short-circuited.
They should not be stored in the car on hot and sunny days. Do not open the battery. Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries
contain electronic safety devices that, if damaged, can cause the battery to ignite or explode.
Charger information and charging process.
Please see the data marked on the charger nameplate. Be sure to connect the charger to the mains with the voltage
indicated on the nameplate. Never connect the charger to a mains voltage
Protect the charger and its cable from damage and sharp edges. Damaged cables must be repaired immediately by a
qualified electrician.
Keep the charger, rechargeable batteries and the cordless tool out of the reach of small children.
Do not use damaged chargers.
Do not use the supplied charger to charge other cordless tools.
The battery heats up during use. Allow it to cool to room temperature before charging.
Never use or charge batteries if you suspect they were last charged more than 12 months ago. There is a high
probability that the battery has already suffered a dangerous damage / complete discharge /
Charging rechargeable batteries at temperatures below 10% will cause chemical damage to the cell and may cause a
fire.
Do not use batteries that have become hot during the charging process, as the battery cells may be dangerously
damaged.
Do not use batteries that have bent or deformed during the charging process (gas discharge, cracking, whistling, etc.).
Never completely discharge the battery / recommended discharge level max. 40% /. Complete discharge of the battery
will lead to premature aging of the battery cells.
Never charge or leave the battery unattended.
This charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or persons without experience and knowledge of the equipment, unless the use is under supervision or in accordance
with the instructions for use of the device provided by persons responsible for safety. Children should be careful not to
play with the equipment.
The charger must not be exposed to moisture or water. Water entering the charger increases the risk of electric shock.
The charger can only be used indoors, in dry rooms.
Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning work on the charger, disconnect it from the mains.
Do not use the charger on a flammable surface (eg paper, cloth) or near flammable substances. Due to the heating of
the charger during charging, there is a risk of fire.
Before each use, check the condition of the charger, cable and plug. In the event of damage, do not use the charger.
Do not attempt to disassemble the charger. All repairs must be assigned to an authorized service center. Improper
installation of the charger may result in electric shock or fire.
When the charger is not in use, it must be disconnected from the mains.
