Before mounting the guide bar and the cutting chain, you must check the correct position of the cutting blades on
the chain (the correct position of the chain on the bar is shown on the front of the bar). Wear protective gloves when
inspecting and installing the chain to avoid injuries from sharp cutting edges.
It is very important to lubricate the chain before work. Check the chain tension and adjust if necessary.
You need to check and adjust its tension quite often, as the loose chain can be easily removed from the rail, wears out
faster or leads to rapid wear of the guide rail.
Tension of the cutting chain
During operation, the cutting chain stretches or contracts. The tension of the cutting chain changes. During operation,
it is necessary to regularly check the tension of the cutting chain and, if necessary, to additionally stretch it.
Lubrication of the cutting chain
-Switch off the wood cutting machine and remove the battery.
-Place the wood cutting machine on a flat surface so that the sprocket cover points upwards.
-Clean the guide bar and cutting chain with a small brush, soft brush or resin solvent.
-Apply multi-purpose oil in the area (1) between the guide bar and the cutting chain.
- Insert the battery.
-Turn on the wood cutting machine. The multifunctional oil is distributed on the cutting chain. The cutting chain is
lubricated.
Do not use used or regenerated oil, as this may damage the oil pump. Use EP90 oil all year round.
Switching the machine on and off
Hold the garden pruner with one hand when starting and operating.
Switching on - press the lock of the start button (2), and then the start button (1).
Switch off - release the start button (1). Releasing the start button (1) stops the garden pruner.
Hold and guide the wood cutting machine with one hand in the grip area (3) of the control handle so that the thumb
covers the handle.
Lubricants used to lubricate the chain.
The durability of the chain and the guide bar of the garden pruner largely depends on the quality of the lubricant used.
Only lubricants designed for chainsaws must be used.
Used or regenerated oil should never be used to lubricate the saw chain.
Chain guide rail.
The guide rail (7) of the chain is exposed to particularly intense wear in its front and lower part. In order to avoid one-
sided wear due to friction, it is recommended to turn the bar at each sharpening of the chain. At the same time, the
spout in the rail and the oil holes must be cleaned. The rail groove has a rectangular shape. Check the chute for wear.
