Glue a measuring line or a smooth flat object to the guide bar and the outer surface of a chain tooth. If you notice a gap
between them, it means that the gutter is OK. Otherwise the tire is probably worn and needs to be replaced.
Guide gear.
The drive gear is an element that is particularly susceptible to wear. If visible signs of wear on the sprocket teeth are
noticed, it must be replaced. The worn sprocket further shortens the durability of the saw chain. The sprocket must be
replaced by an authorized workshop.
Saw chain tension.
During operation of the garden pruner, the cutting chain lengthens due to heating. The stretched chain loosens and can
be released from the guide rail.
Check that the chain (8) is located in the bushing (7).
Check the chain tension again. The chain should be able to be lifted from the upper end of the rail to a height of about
3-4 mm.
The chain should not be tightened too much. Adjustments made with a very hot circuit can lead to excessive tension
after cooling.
Working with the cordless garden pruner
Before proceeding with the planned work, you should familiarize yourself with the points containing the rules for safe
work. It is recommended that you first practice cutting unnecessary pieces of wood. This will help you get to know the
capabilities of the machine in more detail.
You should always follow the safety rules.
The cordless garden pruner can only be used for cutting wood. It is not allowed to cut other materials with it.
The intensity of the vibrations and the effect of the bounce are different when cutting different types of wood.
The use of the machine as a lever for lifting, moving or dividing objects is not permitted. In the event of a chain jam, the
engine must be switched off and a plastic or wooden wedge driven into the cut-out to release the garden pruner. Then
turn on the garden pruner again and carefully start cutting.
You do not need to press hard on the garden pruner when cutting. There should be only a little pressure when the
garden pruner is running at maximum speed.
If the garden pruner gets stuck in the slot during cutting, you should never pull it by force. This may result in loss of
control of the garden pruner and injury to the operator and / or damage to the garden pruner.
Wait until the engine reaches maximum speed before cutting.
Maintain high speeds during operation.
Let the chain cut the wood. Push the garden pruner only slightly down.
In order not to lose control, you must stop pressing the garden pruner at the end of the operation.
Bounce protection.
"Bounce" means the movement of the guide rail of the saw chain up and / or backwards, which can occur when the
saw chain with its front part rests on an object.
You need to make sure that the workpiece is firmly attached. Use clamps to secure the material.
You must hold the garden pruner firmly when switching on and during operation. When bouncing, the garden pruner is
out of control and the chain may become loose.
Improperly sharpened chain increases the risk of bouncing.
You should never cut at a height higher than the shoulders.
Cutting with the front of the bar should be avoided, as this can cause the garden pruner to bounce back and forth
suddenly. When working with the garden pruner always use full equipment as well as the appropriate work clothes.
Disassembly of safety devices, improper maintenance, maintenance, or improper replacement of the guide rail or chain
can increase the risk of personal injury in the event of a bounce. It is not allowed to perform any reconstructions of the
garden pruner. In case of using an arbitrarily reconstructed garden pruner, the user loses all rights arising from the
warranty. Loss of warranty may also result from the use of the garden pruner in violation of the information contained in
this manual.
Cutting with the machine.
When cutting pieces of wood, you must follow the safety instructions and proceed as follows:
Check that the piece of material cannot be moved.
Short pieces of material must be fastened with clamps before starting to cut.
You can only cut wood or wood-like materials.
Before cutting, make sure that the garden pruner does not run into stones or nails, as this could cause the garden
pruner to slip off and damage the chain.
