Operation

Before getting started

• Read chapter "Safety" from page EN-4 and
all the safety notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter "First use" from
page EN-22.
Switching the appliance on
and off
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the cooling appliance has been trans-
ported horizontally, lubricant from the
compressor may get into the cooling
circuit.
■ Allow the appliance to stand upright
for approx. 2 hours after transport
and before connecting.
Switching on
The appliance is switched on as soon as the
mains plug is plugged in.
The compressor starts to work, the refrigerant
flows through the pipes and a quiet humming
sound can be heard.
The symbols on the control panel illuminate
for 3 seconds.
If the appliance makes unusual noises,
check that it is on a solid base and re-
move any objects that are on top of the
appliance.
Activating and deactivating
standby mode
The appliance has a standby mode where it
is not in use but not switched off.
• To activate standby mode, press the but-
ton (15) for approx. 10 seconds.
A beep will sound, and the indicator for the
selected temperature on the control panel
as well as the interior light will switch off.
• To deactivate standby mode, press the but-
ton (15) or the button (14) again briefly.
A beep will sound, and the indicator for the
selected temperature on the control panel
as well as the interior light will illuminate.
Switching off
• To switch the appliance off, pull the mains
plug out of the socket.
If the appliance is switched off, leave
the appliance door (1) open slightly to
avoid mould formation.
Switching on for the first time
The standard temperature setting for when
the appliance is first switched on in cooling
mode is +4 °C.
All indicators on the control panel will also il-
luminate for a couple of seconds.

Configuring operating mode

You can operate the appliance in cooling
mode and freezing mode. Cooling mode tem-
perature settings are shown on the left of the
control panel, the settings for freezing mode
are on the right.
• To configure and change the operating
mode, press the button (14) and hold it for
approx. 3 seconds.
A beep will sound and the operating mode
is changed.
