Setting the temperature

CAUTION
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. The
temperature may increase in the fridge
which may cause the foods stored with-
in to spoil more quickly.
■ Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained (see
"Intended use" on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
require greater cooling power. This in-
creases energy consumption.
Setting the temperature
You can choose temperatures from +2 °C to
+8 °C in refrigerator mode and from –16 °C
to –22 °C in freezer mode.
1. Press the button (14).
The indicator for the last set temperature
will light up.
2. Press the button (14) repeatedly until the
indicator for the desired temperature lights
up.
In refrigerator mode:

The temperature is reduced by 1 °C or 2 °C
respectively each time you press the but-
ton. If the setting reaches the

The ideal fridge temperature is +4 °C.
In freezer mode:
The temperature is reduced by 1 °C each
time you press the button. If the setting

The ideal temperature for the freezer is
–18 °C.
Activating/deactivating quick
refrigerating/quick freezing
When using the appliance in cooling mode,
you can activate the "Quick Refrigerating"
mode. In freezing mode, you can activate
"Quick Freezing".
The "Quick Refrigerating" operating mode
rapidly cools the fridge to +2 °C.
The "Quick Freezing" operating mode rapidly
cools the freezer to –24 °C.

Deactivating quick refrigerating/
quick freezing
Quick refrigerating is automatically deacti-
vated after 2.5 hours after the temperature
