4.5.2 RF INFORMATION

It includes: Switch (including Carrier Switch and RF Switch), Channel No., Pre-ATT, Alarm Threshold,
Power, Gain, Temperature and Alarm Config.
The SR-1910 RF parameters are listed in the following table with description provided.
Node Name
Description
[Switch]
It includes [RF Switch]. The RF switch is to enable/disable the PA output. When user
checks and sets non-RF parameters, such as checking physical antenna
connection, switching off will disable equipment RF power temporarily to avoid the
electro-magnetic emission from the repeater in operation.
[Channel No.]
User specifies operation bandwidth by setting UL/DL channels within the upper and
lower limit of the band channel numbers which are provided in the screenshot.
[Pre-ATT]
The purpose of adjusting the Pre-ATT is to avoid the RF input power exceeding the
maximum power range of the repeater. This will ensure good call quality. The initial
setting is 20dB.
[Alarm
Alarm Threshold includes [DL Output Power Low Threshold], [DL Input Overload
Threshold]
Threshold] and [Equipment Over-Temperature Threshold]. Users can set alarm
threshold according to the concrete situation. If the measured value is lower than the
threshold lower limit or higher than the threshold upper limit, the appropriate alarm
will be generated.
[Power]
Read only parameter and includes [Downlink Input Power] and [Downlink Output
Power]. The DL input and DL output power value should be within the [Downlink
Input Overload Threshold] and [Downlink Output Power Low Threshold]
respectively. Otherwise, a [DL Input Overload Alarm] or [DL Output Power Low
Alarm] will be generated.
A measured value of power can be read directly when equipment signals are
connected. When the measured value is beyond the detection range it will be shown
as "--", or "++".
[Gain]
Read-only parameter and includes Uplink Calculative Gain and Downlink Actual Gain.
A measured value of gain can be read directly when equipment signals are
connected. Adjustment to the UL master ATT will make change to the UL gain
accordingly, in this way, the UL and DL routes are balanced with each other and the
UL output noise level is decreased. Therefore, the optimal coverage is achievable.
[Temperature]
Refer to equipment temperature and is equipment specific. This value should be
within the [Over Temperature Threshold], else, an [Over Temperature Alarm] will be
generated.
Initial setting is

information for external alarm.
Click on the [RF Info.] node to view the RF parameters list below the [RF Info.] node. Click on the node of
the specific RF parameter, the selected RF parameter window will be shown on the right side of the OMT
desktop, in which user can read and/or set the parameter values. For example, select [Alarm Threshold],
user can set threshold for the relevant parameters.
Refer to the OMT v3.20 Product Manual for the specific description of other RF Information.
For the RF information, this manual just takes the [Switch] window to demonstrate how to set the RF
parameters.
