I have a Harbor Breeze mod. #MZ44WW3LR. My remote operates the unit just fine. The problem is that recently the fan has begun to turn itself on at random times on its own. Also, remove mounting plate screw (J)/mounting plate lock washer (I) on outer edge of mounting plate (A) directly opposite the one that was just removed.

    WIRING Wrap electrical tape around each individual wire connector (CC) down to the wire. WARNING: Make sure no bare wire or wire strands are visible after making connections. Place green and white connections on opposite side of box from the black and blue (if applicable) connections.
