It discusses how to set up and configure the software, reviews the hardware, and reviews various aspects of the software operation.

    Chapter 2 SBOU152A – July 2015 – Revised September 2019 TMP461EVM Hardware Overview and Setup This section describes the setup and some of the hardware features present on the TMP461EVM. WARNING Many of the components on the TMP461EVM are susceptible to damage by electrostatic discharge (ESD).

    A1 pin. Hardware Setup The TMP461EVM hardware consists of the USB2ANY Platform and the TMP461 altogether on one single board. The unit is easily connected through a USB connector into the computer, as shown in Figure 2-2.

    3.2.2 Home Tab When the TMP461EVM GUI is launched, the Home tab is selected and shown by default. From this page, you can navigate to any one of the other 5 tabs. The tab bar is available on the left under every tab in the GUI.

    3.2.3 Quick Start Tab The Quick Start Tab is used to guide you through the basic settings of the TMP461EVM. You can either set up the EVM under the default settings, or be guided through the setup. If you decide to use the default settings, you will go straight to the Data Capture tab.
