A lockable front panel to prevent unintentional tampering with the unit The FC-41 converter can be controlled via its front panel with a user-friendly LCD, and also has an RS-232 interface. It is housed in a 19” 1U rack mountable enclosure, and is fed from a 100-240 VAC universal switching power supply.

Communication Protocol The FC-41 is compatible with the protocol (ver 1.2) described below. For RS-232, a null-modem connection between the FC-41 and controller is used. The default data rate is 9600 baud, with no parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit. All the values shown are hexadecimal.
