    Carefully inspect the TSU LT for any shipping damage. If damage is suspected, file a claim immediately with the carrier and then contact ADTRAN Customer Service. If possible, keep the original shipping container for use in shipping the TSU LT back for repair or for verification of damage during shipment.

    The control port input provides an EIA-232 input from a PC or a modem for control of the TSU LT. You can also use it as a Chain input from any ADTRAN unit with a Chain port or as input for PC proxy agent control.

    Displays the version number of the current software revision level. This SOFTWARE REV information is required when requesting assistance from ADTRAN Customer Service or when updates are needed.     The DTE is the source of timing. The TSU LT uses the incoming DTE clock to determine the transmission timing. This is typically used in applications such as limited distance line drivers, where it is necessary to have the DTE as the primary clock source (see Figure 5-4). Figure 5-4.
