For HZ33CE-11 using SIT 885 NOVA Gas Valve
THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER
Each Kit contains one LPG

Installation of the LPG
Conversion Kit:
1.
Shut off the gas supply
2. a) Remove the mesh barrier and glass
door.
b) Remove the Glass Crystals or
Ceramic Stones. Also remove
Inner Panels - if installed.
c) Remove the six (6) screws in locations
shown below to remove burner tray.

Remove 2 screws in location shown in
below - slide burner to the right then lift
out. (See Diagram 2)

Conversion from NG to LPG
for HZ33CE-11 using SIT 885 NOVA Gas Valve
IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!
4. Remove the wire clip below the pilot cap.
5. Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot
orifice.
6.
Unscrew the pilot orifice with the Allen
key and replace with the LPG pilot
orifice in the kit and replace pilot cap.

Remove burner orifice with a 1/2"
wrench and discard. Use another
wrench to hold on to the elbow below
the orifice.

Install the new burner orifice stamped
#56.
9.
Remove regulator and discard. Install Hi/
Lo pressure regulator onto the valve with
2 screws as shown below.

10. Attach the label "This unit has been
converted to LPG" near or on top of the
serial # decal
11. Replace yellow "NG" label with red
"LPG" label
12. Reverse steps 2 - 1.
13. Check for gas leaks.
14. Check inlet and outlet pressures.
15. Check operation of flame control.
