Press [SPACE BAR] and then [ENTER] to choose one of two methods
to assign a MAC Address. Choose Factory Default to select the factory
assigned default MAC Address. Choose IP address attached on LAN
to use the MAC Address of that workstation whose IP you give in the
following field.
IP Address
This field is applicable only if you choose the IP address attached on
LAN method in the Assigned By field. Enter the IP address of the
computer on the LAN whose MAC you are cloning.
When you have completed this menu, press [ENTER] at the prompt "Press ENTER to Confirm..." to save
your configuration, or press [ESC] at any time to cancel.
6.2

Dial Backup

The AUX/CON port can be used in reserve, as a traditional dial-up connection should the broadband
connection from the WAN port fail. To set up the auxiliary port (Dial Backup) for use in the event that the
regular WAN connection is dropped, first make sure you have set up the CON/AUX switch and port
connection (see the Hardware Installation chapter), then configure:
Menu 2 - WAN Setup,
Menu 2.1 - Advanced WAN Setup and
Menu 11.1 - Remote Node Profile (Backup ISP) as shown next.
Refer also to the traffic redirect section in this User's Guide for information on an alternate backup WAN
connection.
