From the Configuration menu, select Serial Port Setup and press Enter to display Serial port settings.

Enter A to edit the Serial Device.

Enter information for first port identified earlier. Remember you can only use the first port. For example,
0000:03:00.0: ttyS0 at MMIO 0xcdeffc00 (irq = 169) is a 16550A.

Press Enter to accept the change. You can change other settings; however, the modem should respond with
default settings in the other fields.

Press Enter again to return to the Configuration menu.

Select Exit and press Enter to go into minicom terminal mode. The response will be similar to:
