    Plug the pistol grip cable into the grip connector. Insert the reader battery. Assemble the reader with the pistol grip and tighten the screws. Note: For details, see the MX-1100 Reference Manual. For a list of supported mobile devices, please contact Cognex.

Install Software and Documentation and Connect the Reader To configure an MX-1100 reader, the DataMan Setup Tool software must be installed on a networked PC.
