Mode dial

There are 8 recording modes can be set by turning the
Mode dial, such as Intelligent Scene, Scene mode,
Panorama, Art Effect, Manual Exposure, Aperture Priority,
Shutter Priority and Program. Once turning the Mode dial,
it will enter the selected mode immediately even in
Playback mode or during movie recording.

The camera detects the shooting conditions and
automatically switches to the appropriate scene mode.
See "Using Intelligent Scene" on page 35 for more details.
Turns the mode dial to enter last used Scene mode. Press
the MENU button to select other scene mode. See
"Setting the Scene Mode" on page 36 for more details.
Use this feature to create a panoramic photo by panning
or tilting the camera.
This feature applies different art effect on the still images.
This feature lets users to adjust the shutter speed and
aperture value to correctly expose your images. See

This feature lets users to adjust the aperture value and
the camera automatically selects the shutter speed to
match the brightness. See "Using Panorama Mode" on
page 43 for more details.
This feature lets users to adjust the shutter speed and the

47 for more details.
The camera automatically adjusts suitable shooting
