5.6 - Vox
The Vox function allows you to put your sound reception on "voice activated mode". With that function activated, you will only hear louder sounds from the
baby's room. If the function is OFF you will hear the sound in continuous mode. The microphone sensitivity can be adjusted as follows:
ON
A low Vox microphone sensitivity means that the sound from the baby's room has to be louder to trigger sound transmission to the Parents Unit.

5.7 - Timer
When the TIMER is started from the main menu, the screen will go back to video display and show the
ON
TIMER running from 0:00 (0 hours and 00 minutes).
(Press stop)
The timer has a maximum limit of 5 hours and 59 minutes. After showing "5:59", it will then stop auto-
OFF
matically and disappear from video display.
(Press to start)
Note: When Parents Unit is turned OFF, the timer will automatically be reset and turned OFF.
5.8 - Alarm set up
NOTE: When the "vibration only" mode is selected, the alarm will not sound on the Parents Unit but it will still sound on the Nursery Unit. When the Parents Unit is placed in the
charging unit, vibration is disabled and will temporarily change to sound alarm only mode. During main menu and settings operations, no sound will be transmited to the Parents Unit
but if the Sensor Pad detects no movement, the alarm will sound. The other secondary alarms and notifications are temporarily turned off.
5.9 - Video off
Power Key
In order to limit battery consumption, the video display can be turned OFF by pushing the power key. Go to the set-
tings menu to choose if the video screen will shut off after 5, 10, 15 or 20 seconds. If you do not want to use the
Video off countdown, press "-" until you see "OFF" instead of numbers over the "-".
ATTENTION: If you push and hold for more than one second, the Parents Unit will shut down.
5.10 - Zoom mode
Press the ZOOM icon key in video display to enter ZOOM mode.
In ZOOM mode, the video display is enlarged twice the normal size and the menu icon disappears. Four directions arrows are displayed on the LCD
screen. Press on the direction you wish to see enlarged.
To return to the normal video display, press the ZOOM icon again.
Press the microphone sensitivity key to the desired level 1
(lowest) to 4 (highest)
Press the left icon key in the settings menu to select alarm mode.You can select one of the three following alarm modes:
Sound alarm
Sound alarm and
vibration
Vibration only

The selected mode icon will appear in top
bar of the LCD video screen
Will display 5-10-15 or 20 or OFF.
